Seweryna Afanasjew, MRICS, MBA, is a senior real estate professional consultant specializing in renewable energy, ESG, digital transformation, innovation, asset management, commercial real estate management, corporate real estate, strategic facilities management and property management. She is a former Member of the Board of the RICS World Europe Board, and is currently President of the Board of RICS in Poland. She is also a former member of the Polish Facility Management Council, a licensed real estate property manager and broker, and President of the technological start-up 4 FM Sp. z o. o. Seweryna has 25 years of experience in commercial real estate (offices, shopping centres, warehouses). She also focuses on the search for – and implementation of – modern technological solutions for real estate to increase EBITDA. She is an expert in commercial asset management and leasing for investment funds, corporate real estate and strategic facilities management in large international organizations. Seweryna builds strategies for organizations taking into account digital transformation and ESG. She has worked for Cushman & Wakefield, Citigroup, ARKA Real Estate Fund BZ WBK FIZ and FIZ 2, Octava Property Trust, Liberty Global and GTC S.A. An international speaker and lecturer, she writes about innovation, proptech, ESG, strategies in the management and optimization of commercial real estate, and lease negotiations. She is an author of the report “Strategic Facilities Management” for the Polish Council of Facilities Management (PRFM) and co-author of the RICS publications “Real estate fund, asset and property management: investment services” and “Procurement of Facilities Management”.
Seweryna is a business and life coach, as well as a mentor in the Top Woman in Real Estate programme. She is focused on the continuous development of ESG and entrepreneurship investment. She is a passionate horse rider, competing with her horses in eventing. She also enjoys scuba diving and mountain hiking.
