Between 2013 and 2024, he helped to develop the Polityka Insight centre for policy analysis, where he served as chief economist and then also as director for research. Until 2012, he worked as a banking economist, previously he cooperated with the World Bank and the FOR Foundation, he was also a Ronald Coase Institute scholarship fellow. He authored dozens of publications in the field of housing studies, comparative capitalism, and political economy. He is the Polish representative to the European Master in Official Statistics Board (term 2021-2023 and 2024-2026).
dr hab Adam Czerniak – Zastępca Prezesa Krajowego Zasobu Nieruchomości, profesor Szkoły Głównej Handlowej w Warszawie, gdzie kieruje Zakładem Ekonomii Instytucjonalnej i Politycznej. W latach 2013-2024 współtworzył centrum analityczne Polityka Insight, gdzie pełnił funkcję głównego ekonomisty a potem dyrektora ds. badań. Wcześniej pracował jako ekonomista bankowy, współpracował z Bankiem Światowym oraz Fundacją FOR, był też stypendystą Ronald Coase Institute. Jest autorem publikacji naukowych z zakresu mieszkalnictwa, ekonomii politycznej kapitalizmu oraz socjologii ekonomicznej i ekonomii instytucjonalnej. Polski reprezentant w radzie European Master in Official Statistics działającej przy Eurostacie w kadencji 2021-2023 oraz 2024-2026.
