Francesca Galeazzi

Francesca is the Head of Sustainability and Decarbonization in Real Estate at KPMG in Germany and the EMA region. Building on her 24 years of experience in sustainability of the built environment with Arup, she joined KPMG in August 2024 to strengthen and further develop ESG services for the real estate sector. Francesca’s extensive international background includes working and living in Australia, the UK, India, China and Germany. She brings a unique combination of deep technical expertise in engineering and design, and a decade-long experience in ESG consulting for property clients. She specializes in decarbonization and climate risk for real estate portfolios, as well as broader sustainability topics, from the initial goal-setting to the implementation and monitoring of the results. In addition, Francesca is a WELL Faculty and an active member of the Global Scientific and Investor Committee of CRREM (Carbon Risk Real Estate Monitor), a global framework addressing stranding risk in the real estate sector. She is passionate about developing actionable sustainability solutions that future-proof the business of her clients.
